Day 01 :

Nairobi to Amboseli National Park

Journey to the Land of Elephants

To begin our cross-border adventure, we depart from Nairobi and drive south toward Amboseli National Park. This celebrated reserve is world-famous for its immense herds of free-ranging elephants set against the iconic backdrop of snow-capped Mount Kilimanjaro. You will arrive at the park in excellent time to check into your lodge and enjoy a warm lunch.

Afternoon Game Viewing

Next, we head out for an afternoon game drive across the savannah plains. Keep your eyes open for possible lion, cheetah, and hyena sightings as the predators begin their evening activity. Return to the lodge at sunset for a relaxing dinner and your first night in the bush.

Day 02 :

Full Day in Amboseli National Park

Sunrise Views & Observation Hill

Wake up early to catch stunning, clear dawn views of Africa's highest peak before tracking active wildlife. During our morning exploration, we visit Observation Hill to gain a panoramic perspective of the landscape. From this vantage point, you can view expansive marshes bustling with massive herds of elephants, hippos, buffaloes, and abundant waterfowl such as pelicans.

Cultural & Wilderness Immersion

Following a midday rest at the lodge, we head back out for further game drives to track the park's diverse wildlife. Additionally, you will have the unique opportunity to experience local villages and vibrant Maasai culture today. Conclude your day with a scenic sundowner and a delightful dinner back at the lodge.

Day 03 :

Amboseli to Lake Naivasha

Transit via the Great Rift Valley

Start the morning with a fresh breakfast before we depart Amboseli and journey into the heart of the Great Rift Valley. Our destination is the beautiful freshwater shores of Lake Naivasha, a paradise for bird lovers and aquatic wildlife. We arrive at our resort in time for a relaxing lunch overlooking the grounds.

Discovery Boat Cruise & Walking Safari

Later in the afternoon, we embark on a discovery boat ride to view magnificent wildlife right along the shoreline. We will glide smoothly past resident pods of hippos while spotting extensive bird species. Afterward, we step ashore for a guided walking safari on Crescent Island, allowing you to walk directly amongst giraffes, zebras, and waterbucks before returning to the resort for dinner.

Day 04 :

Lake Naivasha to Masai Mara Game Reserve

We leave the Great Rift Valley behind after breakfast to drive toward the iconic, world-famous Masai Mara Game Reserve. Renowned for its unparalleled wildlife concentrations, this beautiful vast savannah dotted with acacia trees offers quintessential African landscapes. Arrive at your camp in time to check in and have lunch.

Full Day in Masai Mara Game Reserve

Today is dedicated entirely to a full-day exploration of this legendary wilderness with unlimited game viewing drives. We set out to view the Big Five alongside immense populations of plains game. For an unforgettable experience, you may optionally choose to enjoy a breathtaking sunrise hot air balloon ride over the plains ($420 per person).

Following a classic picnic lunch beneath an acacia tree, we continue tracking wildlife along the Mara River circuits. Day 06 :

Masai Mara to Serengeti National Park

Cross-Border Transit to the Endless Plains

We depart early from the Masai Mara after breakfast and drive toward the Isebania border post to transition from Kenya into Tanzania. After completing seamless customs clearance, your Tanzanian guide will welcome you into an open 4x4 vehicle. From here, we drive directly into the world-famous endless plains of Serengeti National Park.

Enjoy an en-route game drive as we journey toward the central heart of the ecosystem. Full Day in Serengeti National Park

Ngorongoro Crater to Tarangire National Park

We descend early in the morning into the crater floor for an intensive game drive inside the world’s largest intact volcanic caldera. This unique haven features a dense concentration of easily accessible wildlife, offering unparalleled opportunities to view prides of lions, hyenas, and endangered black rhinos thriving together.

Journey to Tarangire

After a picnic lunch beside the hippo pool, we ascend the crater rim and drive toward Tarangire National Park. Known for its iconic baobab trees and beautiful landscapes, it provides a spectacular conclusion to our circuit. Arrive at your lodge in time for a relaxing dinner.

Day 10 :

Tarangire National Park to Arusha

Exploring the Land of Giants

Start your final morning exploring the river circuits of Tarangire National Park, which features a remarkably high density of elephants and baobab trees. Between June and November, immense herds of migratory zebras, wildebeests, and Cape buffaloes gather along the drying riverbeds. Additionally, the park boasts an incredible birdlife profile with over 550 distinct species.

Final Return Journey

Following a rewarding morning game drive, we return to the lodge for check-out and a final lunch. Meanwhile, we drive back toward Arusha, arriving by late afternoon.
